Gideon went to Glasgow and finished Lanark on the plane. I have about 100 pages left. It's a great book. I am falling asleep. Anyway he took a bunch of pictures of murals Alasdair Gray painted (there is a great autobiographical part in the novel about Gray painting a Glaswegian church ceiling) and I am asleep. Kudos to everyone involved! I miss you all a lot right now. Except for you, miscellaneous high-school friends of McM and steve I've never met: you guys, I do not miss.
"the blue ceiling ones are from a church-turned-nightclub in Glasgow's West End called Oran Mor. The others are from the back stairway of a restaurant called The Ubiquitous Chip."
N.B. This post means I'm not working.
