Marshall Bell: husband of Milena Canonero, Oscar-winning costume designer for Marie Antoinette

I'm liveblogging the Oscars with Steev, but the internet signals are weak, so posts may be sparse. Biggest surprise of the evening (so far): Marshall Bell (Kuato from Total Recall... and the bad guy from Twins) is the beloved husband of Milena Canonero, Oscar-winning costume designer for Marie Antoinette (and, notably, A Clockwork Orange and The Shining).



Less surprising: Steev made some delicious potato leek soup for the occasion. I'm drinking a Wolaver's organic pale ale. NEWS FROM THE OTHER ROOM: An Inconvenient Truth just won an Academy Award. Steev just cracked a joke I couldn't make out. He just shouted "Al Gore is holding an Oscar! (laughter) Why is Al Gore..."
