Ted Danson, gay director of amateur porn

This morning — on the Internet — I chanced upon The Amateurs (2005/07). This pretty-much-direct-to-DVD movie (it was quietly released to six [6] U.S. theaters in late '07 and grossed roughly $10,000 at the domestic box office) hit video stores in February.

Just now — at Lost Weekend Video — I rented a copy. Can't wait to pop it into the DVD player this evening and watch it with Katie. (What an incredible cast!)

Steev is currently in Mexico. Tomorrow I'll be in LA for the day for Book Expo America. I fly out at 6:30 am and fly back at 8:30 pm. Ha ha. I feel like I'm "getting away with something" by not having to spend the night in LA. Brian 1, Los Angeles 0.

This entry has led me to a couple of commentaries. Regarding the new coiffure, it reminds me of a story from my younger days, when the father of a friend of mine stated one day that I needed three haircuts. I then watched the Zero Mostel thing, which led me to watch the Josh Mostel thing, wherein he played the role of Herod in the 1973 version of "Jesus Christ, Superstar". This leads me back to the observation that your new haircut reminds me of Josh Mostel's hair. I would not expect however that this would prevent you from either playing your annual round of golf, or smoking your first cigar this year.

You have a good memory...
Shall we golf on the east coast or west coast... or I suppose there's the middle of america and other countries as well.

oops... autofill used the wife's name...

I had high expectations for 'The Amateurs,' but was sorely dissapointed with it. Not even Jeff Bridges could salvage this stinker.

If you want to keep the bad movie, ensemble cast streak alive, watch 'The Air I Breathe' next.

The Godfather Lounge was the place I learned about Street Fighter II. It was the first place I walked to alone, since I was previously exclusively escorted to and from school in my mother's minivan. It turns out that what other children referred to as "being grounded" could have been referred to by me as "every day of my life until college." I was promptly gifted Street Fighter II for the Super Nintendo, removing any further need of mine to walk to Dominic's Restaurant or anywhere else. There would be no more pedestrian journeys to Southwyck Mall or its surroundings.
